Nestling on the banks of a river, Dalyan remains one of the world’s last corners of unspoiled paradise. The magnificent Turtle Beach and the Aegean border to the west of the village and the glorious freshwater Koycegiz lake joins to the east to complete this paradise. Just over the river the magnificence of the Lycian Tombs dominate the majestic cliffs leading to the ancient city of Caunos, Turkey’s second greatest archaelogical site. When Troy was at its zenith, Caunos was the centre of the ancients world. The welcoming village community offers ethnic markets, bountiful shops and stores selling traditional goods alongside designer labels. Discover a wealth of inexpensive restaurants run by friendly local people who appreciate traditional family values and you begin to see why Dalyan is one of the hidden gems of the world. Wander down a side street and you find small local bars and cafes or more upmarket bars and restaurants on the riverfront. For evening entertainment there is live music in the old part of the village giving a wonderful alfresco feel to your evening meal or you can visit one of the two night clubs or disco bars that are kept away from the more relaxed bars by the river so as not to spoil your evening.

It’s very close to bars, restaurants and supermarkets, with two disabled friendly ground floor bedrooms and new terrace and balcony to enhance a private pool. It has the most comfortable high sun loungers you will ever use made from hardwood 90 cm wide and 10cm cloth covered, foam cushions. These are especially appreciated by older people who have trouble getting on and off the usual lower ones. There is disabled access on the ground floor and covered bar area which seats 12 on teak benches at a tiled teak table.
