This year we're trialing some smart lighting - as having nice lights is no use if they're a pain to turn on.

All our houses have at least one DorGuard. These are devices that hold fire doors open in a safe and compliant way. We've found that the batteries don't always last a full year, so we've started supplying spares so the students can change them when they start beeping.

And now they're watching you.
