Employee Sustainability Engagement Activation Program: Megan Augustin of Orange Business Services achieved the highest score and was awarded first prize 🏆

It was presented by Manisha Jooty, Head of Marketing and Communication at Landscope (Mauritius) Ltd. 🤝

Landscope Mauritius Ltd extends its appreciation to Greenpeace Africa for their partnership, as well as to participating tenants, including Orange Business Services (OBS), the Mauritius Emerging Technologies Council (METC), and others, for their active involvement and commitment to this sustainability engagement initiative.

On 3rd June 2026, the Greenpeace Africa Foundation Mauritius, in collaboration with Landscope (Mauritius) Ltd, conducted its inaugural Employee Sustainability Engagement Activation at Cyber Tower 2.

This initiative formed part of Landscope’s Sustainable Tenancy Engagement programme, organised in the lead-up to World Environment Day, observed on 5th June 2026. 🌍

The engagement session focused on raising awareness among tenants at Cyber Tower 2 on key environmental issues, including:

🐟 Overfishing and the protection of marine ecosystems

♻️ Waste management and recycling practices
🌱 Broader environmental sustainability awareness

These discussions facilitated meaningful interactions with more than 200 participants, spanning varying levels of environmental awareness and engagement.

World Environment Day 2026: Landscope Mauritius Mobilises for Climate Action

“One Planet. One Mission. Climate Action.”

As part of the celebration of World Environment Day 2026, Landscope Mauritius has reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability and climate resilience through a series of awareness and engagement activities held under the theme “One Planet. One Mission. Climate Action.”

The initiative brought together employees, tenants, partners, and visitors across the Cybercity of Ebène to promote environmentally responsible practices, raise awareness on climate-related challenges, and showcase innovative green solutions that can contribute to a more sustainable future.

Interactive Greenpeace Africa Experience

The programme kicked off with the Interactive Greenpeace Africa Experience, held on 3 June at Cyber Tower 2 and on 4 June at the Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee (SABV) Tower.

Throughout the two-day event, participants engaged in interactive quizzes, eco-awareness activities and educational games designed to encourage sustainable lifestyles and environmental stewardship. The initiative also provided an opportunity for visitors to learn more about climate change, biodiversity conservation and practical actions that individuals can take to reduce their environmental footprint.

Raising Awareness on Sustainable Practices

On 5 June, World Environment Day itself, Landscope Mauritius hosted an EEMO Awareness Talk at the Conference Room of the SABV Tower.

The session focused on key environmental issues, including sustainable development, responsible waste management, resource efficiency and climate-conscious practices in both personal and professional environments.

The celebrations culminated with a Green Energy Expo held at the ground floor of the SABV Tower. The exhibition featured leading industry players including Reneworld, Leal Energie and Duraco, who showcased a range of innovative technologies and solutions aimed at promoting renewable energy and sustainable living.

Visitors had the opportunity to discover the latest advancements in clean energy, energy efficiency and environmentally friendly technologies that are helping businesses and communities transition towards a low-carbon future.

A Commitment to Sustainable Development

Through these activities, Landscope Mauritius continues to demonstrate its commitment to fostering environmental awareness and supporting initiatives that contribute to a greener and more sustainable Mauritius.
