This might be the most accurate representation of how my son and my clients see me… 😂 Always finding a way to somehow make it to the other side.

This week marks 16 years of living in New Zealand. 🤍

I think about that younger version of me, bravely stepping into a whole new world, fuelled by expectations, dreams and hope.

The plan was always to go back. Continue my career. Return to the life I knew.

But then I fell in love.

I couldn't quite believe how safe this place felt. How beautiful — and painfully cold 😂 — those sunny winter days could be. How easy it was to explore and discover new places.

The journey hasn't always been easy. There have been plenty of moments when I felt like I was swimming against the current. But I'm not one to give up easily… and I do know how to swim. 😏

Of course, I miss my first home. The warmth, the beaches, the food, the people, my friends and family.

But I'm lucky — and blessed — to have a choice.

My own family is here now. And somehow, my heart belongs to two worlds.

My spirit has two homes.
