First-home buyers often ask me where they should be looking in Napier.

There’s no single answer, but Tamatea, Pirimai and Taradale are three suburbs I think are well worth keeping an eye on. Each offers something a little different, from generous sections and solid 1970s homes to established streets, good schooling and easy access to everyday amenities.

The key is knowing what matters most to you, and being ready when the right property comes up.
