T100 certification flight testing and our Ag Assessment Program happening simultaneously at DronezUp NZ this week. It's great to see these aircraft being configured and checked, ready to go out into some busy operations around NZ.

Great to work with the collective West Coast District and Regional Councils this week. Some challenging flight conditions but nothing the phantom couldn't deal with. We appreciate the opportunity to work with the people we do, at our training site or at theirs. It's so satisfying to see people embracing the industry as it grows throughout NZ.

**FLIGHT TEST DAYS**

Unfortunately, sometimes the weather doesn’t play ball when we hold a course and we are unable to complete the flight test. Other times, you may find out that you actually need a little more practise than you thought to complete the practical aspect of the course. Either way, these dates in our training calendar are perfect for those that need to resit their test due to weather or after getting a few more flying hours in.

These days are also a great opportunity to give the flight test a go before you attend one of our courses. We of course always send out our flight test video prior to your course, and you can also find it on our website, but nothing quite beats seeing it in person and having a go.

The flight test days still on the calendar for 2026 are:
July 31st
August 28th
September 25th
October 30th
November 27th
December 18th

We have 30 minute time slots available on those days, at a cost of $80+gst per time slot (only one person per time). If you would like an hour to come and have a go, then you can always let us know and book two time slots. First in first served for times.

PLEASE NOTE: If your flight test was unable to be completed due to weather on your course day, there is no charge for your first rebook.

As a general guide, we suggest at least 10-20 hours of flying time is adequate to pass the flight test, however within that time you also need a few of those hours to be in ATTI mode.

If you need to rebook your flight test, or would like to book a time to come out and have a go before your course date, contact Jordan. If you let us know which day you are looking at, we will be able to let you know which times are still available.

Pilot training is one of the key mitigations when managing risk in an aircraft operation.
