Today is National Property Managers Day, and it's a chance to recognise the incredible people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep rental homes running smoothly.
Property management is so much more than collecting rent. We navigate legislation, mediate disputes, respond to emergencies, support landlords through major investments, help tenants through difficult circumstances, and often absorb the stress of situations that nobody else sees. It's a profession that demands resilience, empathy, professionalism and an unwavering commitment to doing the right thing.
We remember local Property Manager Sue Knowles from EVES Property Management Eastern BOP , whose tragic passing earlier this year deeply affected many within our local property community. Our thoughts remain with Sue's family, friends and colleagues. Her loss was felt far beyond the workplace and serves as a reminder that behind every Property Manager is a person carrying responsibilities that often extend well beyond office hours.
To every Property Manager—whether you're in the office, out completing inspections, answering after-hours emergencies, or supporting someone through a difficult day—thank you. Your work matters, even when it goes unseen.
