My good friend Vicky Simpson has her book MOLESWORTH - THE HEARTBEAT OF THE HIGH COUNTRY available for sale. Proceeds from the sale of the books are going to Brain Tumour Support Trust for KIDZ. The book is a beautiful coffee table book featuring many of Vicky's photographs over the past 20 years. You can order the book via Vicky's website. Get in quick as already more than 100 copies of the 500 that have been printed have been sold!

Available for purchase from mid May.

MOLESWORTH – THE HEARTBEAT OF THE HIGH COUNTRY

My very good friend Vicky Simpson is producing a book about Molesworth Station. This will be a beautiful coffee table book featuring many of Vicky's photographs over the past 20 years. It will include stories from interviews of those who have managed or worked at Molesworth. All funds raised from the production of this book are going to Brain Tumour Support Trust for KIDZ. To produce 500 copies of this book Vicky needs $30,000 to ensure all proceeds go to this very worthwhile cause.

Sponsorship options include:
Gold sponsors $1,000 or more Logo & name
Silver sponsors $500 to $999 Name
Bronze sponsors $499 or less Name

All sponsors will be acknowledged at the back of the book. The deadline for getting names and logos on the sponsorship page is today! Payment for sponsorship is not required until May. Any support would be much appreciated.

A little bit of background about Vicky ....I went to school with Vicky at Pleasant Point in South Canterbury. She is an amazing woman who has given so much to charity over the years. She has raised in the past around $200,000 for Child Cancer by selling calendars, which have included many of her beautiful photos. A huge welcome to Twizel to all rowers, coaches, support crew & families who are here for Maadi Cup next week 23-28 March. This event is the final culmination of months of training by school rowing teams. The Maadi Cup was first raced for in NZ in 1947. It had been gifted to the NZ Amateur Rowing Association by the Cairo Rowing Club.

Good luck to all rowers next week. May the lake be calm, the sun ☀️shining, the competitive sportsperson spirit prevail and you all enjoy participating in such a prestigious event.

To all who are visiting our community, please be patient when you order your coffee, eat at our wonderful restaurants & cafes, have a drink at the end of the day & shop at our small range of quality shops & supermarkets. All hospitality & retail staff will be working hard to serve you but the queues may be long at times. Treat them with the respect they deserve.
