The latest REINZ Wanaka market statistics for May 2026 are out. Residential housing saw another median price rise of 10% (year on year) to $1,540,000. The volume of residential sales declined slightly by 6% to 47 sales. For residential sections the average price per square meter reduced 8% (year on year) to $838/sqm, and volumes were also down with only 10 section sales during the month.
