Our kid friendly event with candy in the maze will be October 10th from 4-10pm but we are trying something new this year for Friday and Sunday! Come bring your friends and family and have a good time running through the corn with professional scare actors scattered throughout!! Vendors welcome. Bring your own food, beverages and flashlights or we have hot dogs, drinks,glowsticks and flashlights available to purchase on site. Playground, flower field and fishing ponds open as well!! Half proceeds go to charities of Dorsett hill haunts choosing! Thank you all for the support 😁👻

I wanted to share this breakdown of our celebrations during October 2025, and the improvement we made that was known to all. And so this is known to the public, our door was NEVER knocked on to discuss issues or concerns before the formal complaint was filed. It was the cops being called and WE FIXED the concern immediately as stated in our post yesterday, please reread my post if needed, the police didnt understand why they were being called out as they could see the changes we made and were doing nothing wrong. The county's words and I quote "We had to issue the cease letter only because a formal complaint was filed." So if you all have a gathering and expect more than 40 vehicles per hour, wedding, graduation, garage sale, celebration of life, etc you may need permitting? We are not giving up for good, but we need everyone's support that believes in us! Update: we did not know who was putting in the complaints last year so WE could talk to them, we were notified 3 days before the cease letter was received.

This is some BU****IT!! This just isn’t a “haunt”. This is a FAMILY DEAL!

The last 3 years, my son and I have had the best times helping out here. Nothing can take away the memories and “family” we’ve gain because of the haunt.

🚨 DRONE PILOT PSA — KANSAS CITY AREA, MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14 🚨

On this episode of “Dont be That Guy”🤡

Vice President JD Vance will be visiting the KC metro tomorrow, causing Temporary Flight Restriction covering two separate areas near MCI and Olathe.

📍 KCI area: 10:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. and 3:00–4:45 p.m.
📍 Olathe area: 12:30–3:00 p.m.

These restrictions include ALL drone operations, recreational AND commercial. A Part 107, LAANC authorization or DJI unlock does not mean you can fly inside a VIP TFR. Federal agencies can seize or destroy a drone considered a security threat, and pilots may face fines or criminal penalties. If you have drone operations on the books in those areas you’ll have to reschedule.

Please share this with other local pilots. Fly safe, check TFRs directly from the FAA before every flight, don’t rely on Aloft or other apps, and if there is any doubt—do not launch.
