House hunting is the fun part. But a little preparation before we start opening doors can save you a whole lot of frustration later.

1️⃣ Know your real monthly comfort zone.
What a lender says you can afford and what you actually want to spend every month aren’t always the same number.

2️⃣ Get fully pre-approved.
Not just an online estimate. When the right house shows up, you want to be ready to move.

3️⃣ Figure out your must-haves vs. your nice-to-haves.
Location? Commute? School district? Yard? Garage? Updated kitchen? We can change countertops. We can’t pick up the house and move it three streets over. 😉

The goal isn’t just to find a house you love.

It’s to buy a home that still makes sense after the excitement of getting the keys.
