National Nurses Week! 🤍

Today we stopped by Onesource Healthcare at 701 N Slappey Blvd. with cookies from one of our local favorites The Sweet Spot Albany 🍪 to celebrate them in honor of Nurses Week and to say thank you for all they do for our community.

OneSource offers urgent care, primary care, chiropractic care, and occupational health services right here in Albany - making them such an important resource for Southwest Georgia families.

We both have personally been patients at OneSource ourselves- and having providers who genuinely care about their patients makes all the difference, and that’s exactly the kind of environment they’ve created there.

In the photos from left to right are Gavin Banks, FNP-C, Dr. Troy Alderman, DC, NP-C, and Lindy Hearn, NP-C - 3️⃣ incredible providers serving our community every single day.

✨ Gavin brings more than 6 years of ER, ICU, and trauma nursing experience, with clinical interests in preventive care, urgent care, and men’s health.

✨ Dr. Troy Alderman brings a unique combination of chiropractic care and primary care experience as both a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and licensed chiropractor, offering patients a well-rounded, evidence-based approach to musculoskeletal health and overall wellness.

✨Lindy brings 7 years of ICU nursing experience from Phoebe’s Surgical Intensive Care Unit, along with so much compassion and care for her patients.

We’re incredibly grateful for providers and nurses like these who continue showing up for Southwest Georgia every day.

Today we enjoyed celebrating all the different kinds of women who have shaped our lives. 🤍

From our mom, second mom, mother-in-law, getting to experience motherhood ourselves (and even being a proud dog moms too) 🐾 - today reminded us just how many different forms love can take.

The women who show up, hold everything together, love hard, and make a house feel like home deserve to be celebrated every day.

We hope everyone had a beautiful Mother’s Day spent with the people {and pets} that mean the most. ✨

Settle this for us- who looks more like our dad? 😆

In honor of National Nurses Week, we wanted to show some love to someone who means a whole lot to us - our dad (also known as Tim Phillips).

Our dad has been a nurse for over 40 years and has been with Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for 37 years. He became a nurse in 1986 and was also one of the first involved with cardiac transport at Phoebe. Shaping cardiac care in our community.

Throughout his career, he’s worked in critical care, cardiac testing, general surgery, orthopedics, radiology, and currently serves as the Team Leader for Cardiopulmonary Rehab. He also served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Medical Corps during Desert Storm.

If you know our dad, then you know he’s never met a stranger. He’s outgoing, a true social butterfly, and deeply loved by both his patients and coworkers. His work has always meant everything to him, and he’s one of the hardest workers we know.

Watching his compassion, work ethic, and dedication to helping others shaped both of us more than he probably realizes.

Happy Nurses Week to our dad and to all of the healthcare professionals taking care of our community every single day.
