That’s why understanding your contingencies matters so much. Inspection, financing, appraisal, and other deadlines can all affect whether you can step away and what happens to your earnest money.

A few important reminders 📝:
• contracts are time-sensitive
• every agreement is different
• missing a deadline can change your options
• asking questions early is always better than scrambling later

That means I will absolutely:
• tell you when the “perfect” house is overpriced
• send you a new listing quickly if I know it matters
• remind you of your non-negotiables when emotions start taking over
• suggest driving by again at a different time of day before you commit
