The Lorain County Sheriff’s Office would like to advise the public that 301 - Lagrange Road is currently closed at the intersection of Oberlin-Elyria Road due to the installation of a roundabout. The roundabout construction is a roughly 150-day closure expected to last until October 15, 2026.

Detour signs have been posted near Butternut Ridge Road for northbound traffic, and additional sign-age has been posted for southbound traffic to assist motorists traveling through the area.

Motorists are reminded that moving barriers or driving around barriers is prohibited and may result in a traffic citation. These closures and traffic control devices are in place for the safety of the public and workers in the area.

At this time, the Circle K located near the closure remains open and accessible only from Oberlin-Elyria Road. Access points may change as work progresses. We encourage residents to continue supporting our local businesses by utilizing the current access route from Oberlin-Elyria Road.

Please use caution while traveling in the area and follow all posted traffic control signs and detours. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
