Having your offer accepted is a huge milestone, but the journey to closing is just getting started!

Behind the scenes, there are many details, deadlines, and people involved in making sure everything stays on track. My job is to help guide the process and keep all the moving pieces headed toward one important goal: a successful closing! 🔑

Depending on the transaction, that may include:

🔑 Ensuring earnest money is submitted by the required deadline

🏦 Staying in touch with the lender throughout the process

🔎 Coordinating inspections and reviewing the results

📝 Helping negotiate repairs, replacements, or possible credits

🏘️ Keeping up with HOA or condo documents and understanding their restrictions, rules and regulations

📊 Monitoring the appraisal process and results

🏠 Coordinating additional inspections, such as septic, well, or radon

📅 Tracking important contract, financing, and contingency deadlines

⚖️ Communicating with the closing attorney/title company to ensure everything is progressing

🔧 Following up on repairs that were agreed upon

💰 Reviewing closing figures and helping avoid unexpected surprises

📞 Staying in communication with the other agent, lender, inspectors, attorneys, and everyone involved

🚶‍♀️ Scheduling the final walkthrough

🔑 Making sure all the final details are in place for closing day!

And of course, when unexpected issues come up (and sometimes they do) I’m there to help navigate the situation and find a solution.
