Getting the keys is exciting. Learning how your home works is one of the smartest next steps. 🔑

Before you finish unpacking, give yourself a quick home orientation:

💧 Locate the main water shutoff. Ask how it operates and what areas it controls.

⚡ Find the electrical panel. Check whether the circuits are clearly labeled. Have a qualified professional address missing labels or concerns.

🚨 Review smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Follow the manufacturer’s testing and replacement instructions.

📁 Start a home folder. Keep appliance manuals, warranties, service records and emergency contacts together.

🛠️ Know who to call. Save contacts for your utility providers and qualified repair professionals before you need them.

An old hymn hit my heart this morning and I had a praise party all by myself. The hymn goes we’ve come this far by faith. Leaning on the Lord. Trusting in His holy Word. He’s never failed me yet.
When I got to He’s never failed me yet I thought about prayers I’ve prayed and how He has come through for me time after time. This morning I offer Jesus to those that may not know Him. He will not fail or falter! His Word is true and He keeps His promises!!
