Georgians can renew SNAP, CAPS, PeachCare for Kids®, TANF, Medicaid, or WIC benefits. Stop by your nearest participating library to learn more or renew benefits.

When Bonnie’s daughter, Kyrieann, 11, was diagnosed with dyslexia, she knew that finding ways to support learning and keep her on track in school would be crucial.

The resource from Georgia Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled that had the biggest impact on Kyrieann’s reading is audiobooks through BARD, the National Library Service’s Braille and Audio Reading Download program, which provides instant access to hundreds of thousands of books, magazines, and music materials in audio and electronic braille.

“I always liked stories, but I hated reading because I’m dyslexic and it just made it harder,” said Kyrieann. “So I’m glad I have BARD so I can enjoy the stories.”

Looking for a fun way to keep your children learning this summer? GASHA GO! World Learning Stations at Georgia libraries help kids build core computer science, math, and literacy skills with games, animated videos, and hands‑on activities.

The Library of Congress, National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled, recently recognized Georgia Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled as the 2026 Network Library of the Year for outstanding service to readers with visual, physical, or print disabilities.
