I moved back to Auburn-Opelika 11 years ago to go to school. I didn’t exactly plan to stay. But then I met my husband, we loved it here, and here we are.

1. Highway 280 - Exit 62 at 7:45am is not the fast way, no matter what your GPS says
2. There is so much more to Auburn than football. (But the city’s rhythm is revolved around it)
3. Auburn University football game days change the traffic on Shug Jordan (after the game).
4. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport is on THIS side of Atlanta, and that matters more than you’d think.
