Derek moved to Austin in 2012 after a 10 year career in the music business. Having worked for Capitol Records, Live Nation and Ticketmaster, he was prepped and ready for a new adventure. With a background in negotiating record deals, publishing deals and touring contracts while also having a passion for serving people, Real Estate proved itself to be the right balance of business and customer serv

ice for him. Derek is extremely patient and loyal, he operates with the highest level of honesty and integrity at all times. He has a history of fighting for his clients while keeping deals together through closing. Derek has two beautiful daughters and loves spending as much time as possible with them. When he's not working or with his kids he's doing something active like running the lake, playing volleyball at Zilker, weightlifting or shooting hoops. Derek spends a lot time getting to know the city and the communities around it. He serves in his church and is part of multiple groups that engage the community every week. Being tech savvy and having a heart for people, Derek is constantly finding ways to efficiently raise the bar for customer service. Tamara is a licensed Realtor and a member of the Austin Board of Realtors (ABOR). She is passionate about working side by side with her husband, Derek Peterson, to help their clients find their dream homes. Tamara's interest in real estate began at a young age when her parents frequently bought and sold homes. She went to countless open houses and resale homes with them and learned a lot about the real estate market. It was no surprise that she married a real estate agent. Tamara is also the only Deaf female Realtor in Austin, TX, she understands the importance of confidentiality in the Deaf community. She is a native ASL signer and a member of the Deaf community, who can help ensure that Deaf clients can fully participate in the home buying or selling process. She values her clients' trust and goes above and beyond to protect their privacy. Tamara is an exceptional communicator who puts her clients' minds at ease.
