Today belongs to the woman who taught me that true softness is never weakness, and true strength never needs to become hard.
My mother carries within her a rare balance, warmth and firmness, tenderness and discipline, elegance and truth. She has always had a quiet way of shaping the people she loves, not through performance, but through example.
From her, I learned that a woman can be gentle and unwavering at once. That education is not only what we know, but how we carry ourselves. That elegance begins in character. That authenticity is a form of dignity. And that no matter how difficult life becomes, we do not abandon ourselves.

She has been more than a mother to me, she has been a true friend, a source of wisdom, an extraordinary grandmother, and one of the deepest influences on the woman I have become.
