One of the biggest mistakes buyers can make is falling in love with a house before understanding what they’re actually comfortable paying each month.

Getting pre-approved is important, but knowing your COMFORTABLE budget is just as important.

Before you start scrolling listings, make sure you understand what your mortgage payment consists of and what you’ll be responsible for on a monthly basis.

And remember, what you qualify for and what you can comfortably afford are not always the same thing.

Your REALTOR® should help you think beyond the listing price and encourage you to make a decision that makes sense for your real life, not just your approval letter and their pockets.

🎬 POV: You’re surviving 2 that are just like you. 😅

Two daughters. Two strong personalities. Two little humans who somehow have the exact same attitude, determination, and negotiation skills as their mama. 😂

And yes, sometimes “self-care” looks like locking myself in the bathroom for 3 minutes of peace while tiny hands slide notes, toys, and random questions under the door.

Motherhood is beautiful, exhausting, rewarding, loud, and occasionally requires hiding in the bathroom to gather your thoughts.

To every mama running on caffeine, prayers, and pure determination, you’re doing better than you think. The dishes can wait. The laundry can wait. Take the breather. Sit in the car an extra minute. Lock the bathroom door if you need to. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤍

We can’t pour from an empty cup.
