Not every home is the perfect match, and that’s okay.
Sending out termination paperwork this morning on a home where my buyers decided, after their inspection, that it just wasn’t the right fit for them.
And honestly? That’s part of the process.
This is why having a great inspector in your corner is so important. A good inspector isn’t there to scare you out of buying a home. They’re there to educate you, point out things you may not see, and give you the information you need to make the best decision for you and your family.
Sometimes an inspection gives you peace of mind to move forward. Sometimes it gives you things to negotiate. And sometimes it helps you realize the home just isn’t for you.
There’s no shame in walking away when the condition of the home or the overall situation doesn’t feel right.
My job isn’t to get you to the closing table at all costs. My job is to help you make an informed decision and feel good about it even when that decision is to walk away.
The right house is still out there.
