10 years ago I vividly remember my shock in calling Zillow and asking to be the point of contact for MY LISTINGS ONLY. The answer was NO. I wanted people to be able to contact me because it was a dis-service to not be able to get ahold of the list agent, the person who knows more about the house than anyone else would. But NOPE all the search yourself home sites EXCEPT homes.com have programs where you pay for leads on other people’s listings and therefore it’s nearly impossible to not be bombarded by 5+ agents once you submit your phone number into those websites. Let’s normalize homes.com because who wants to feel like they’re shopping for insurance and getting 5 different companies begging for your business just because you want to know the completion date on a listing, or what junior high it’s zoned for, what age the roof was, who built the property…the list goes on and on. Sometimes you are just looking for a simple answer. Make the switch to homes.com and not Zillow 😅
