Clocked in vs. clocked out — Lowcountry edition. 🌴

One minute I’m touring homes, answering emails, writing contracts, checking the MLS, attending local events, or working from my kitchen table with Kevin supervising. The next, I’m at the beach, trying a new restaurant, traveling, spending time with family, or finding time to golf with friends. 🥰

The humidity finally starts to break, the crowds thin out, patio season makes its comeback, oyster roasts are everywhere, golf gets a little more tempting, and suddenly spending the entire day outside sounds like a very good idea.

One of those Hilton Head spots that just gets it. 🌵🌮

Cactus Street Cantina has become one of my favorite go-to lunch spots on the island—and yes, the food is delicious, but it’s the whole experience that keeps me coming back.

Think authentic Mexican cantina food with a coastal/island fusion twist, Cheers meets La Bodega, and the kind of place where you walk through the door and immediately feel like a regular.

The owners come from years of hospitality on the island, so hospitality is clearly in their DNA and the Chef de Cuisine shares authentic family recipes from Mexico creating comfort food for the overall menu. The service is always on point, I’ve never had to wait for a seat at the bar or a table (always head in before 12:30), and somehow they manage to make everyone feel like family.

And the food? 🤌 The chicken tortilla soup, chorizo taco, shrimp ceviche and birria tacos are a few of my favorites.
