When I think about it, I have to go back much further than my first transaction. I grew up watching my mom sell homes in Idaho and seeing firsthand how much trust and care this work requires.

She taught me to listen closely, be honest, take care of people, and remember that every move has a story behind it.

I’m letting this day be a little bit about me. ❤️

There’s been so much change lately, with new beginnings, big decisions, and a lot happening all at once. Through it all, I keep coming back to how grateful I am to be here, doing work I love, surrounded by people who mean the world to me, and excited for what’s ahead.

I learned a long time ago that life moves fast, so celebrate the good things. Tell people you love them. Take the photo. Have the party. Step into the next chapter.

𝟮𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲.

On September 11, 2001, I was living just a quarter mile from the Pentagon. I remember the smoke-filled sky, planes trying to land, and the uncertainty of figuring out how to get home. I also knew people who lost their lives in the Twin Towers that day.

9/11 ultimately became part of what brought me home to Idaho. It changed how I thought about home, community, and being close to the people who matter.

Today, I remember those we lost, those who ran toward danger to help, and the families who carry their memory.

For those who gave all, we remember.

30+ years in real estate, it’s time for a reintroduction. 🤍

𝐇𝐢, 𝐈’𝐦 𝐃𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐬.

Real estate has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My mom sold homes in Idaho for 50 years, so I grew up watching her work, build relationships, and take care of her clients. Looking back, I realize how much that shaped the way I would eventually approach this business myself.

More than 30 years later, I still love what I do.

For me, real estate has never really been about the houses. It’s about the people and being there for some of the biggest transitions in their lives. Buying a first home, moving across the country, selling a home filled with memories, downsizing, starting over, or simply deciding it’s time for something different.

I’ve called Boise home for more than 20 years, raised my family here, built my business here, and I’m incredibly grateful for the people who have trusted me along the way.

If we’ve worked together before, thank you. Truly. So much of my business has been built through repeat clients and referrals, and that means more to me than I can say.

And if we haven’t met yet, now you know a little more about me. I’m Debra. I love Boise, I love real estate, I’ll always tell you what I really think, and I’d love to help when the time comes. 🤍

𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 | Fall in Boise is one of my favorite times of year.

Not only do I love Boise, but I especially love September in Boise. Maybe I’m a little biased because it’s also my birthday month. 😊 Warm days, cooler nights, that first hint of fall in the air, and so many fun things happening around town make this month feel extra special.

I pulled together a few September events worth checking out, from the Hyde Park Street Fair and local art to fall festivals and Oktoberfest downtown.

Well, here’s the new spot! 🤍🧭

I immediately fell for the brick, the big windows, all the natural light, and the fact that I can look right out over Freak Alley from my desk. Artwork all day! 😅
We’re downtown above West Elm, which could be dangerous for me, and I’m loving being right in the middle of everything.

For those of you who work downtown, I need to know your favorite coffee and lunch spots. Send them my way!
