Affordability challenges continue to reshape how buyers are approaching homeownership, and many are finding creative ways to make it work.

Latino households led U.S. homeownership growth last year, adding an incredible 441,000 new homeowner households, the largest annual increase ever recorded.

In today’s market, buyers are adapting by:
• Partnering with co-borrowers or purchasing with multigenerational family members
• Utilizing family financial support to strengthen buying power
• Focusing more on long-term homeownership goals rather than short-term “starter homes”

While some buyers are waiting for rates or prices to shift, others are adjusting their strategy and structure to move forward now.

The reality is, today’s market often rewards creativity, flexibility, and having the right plan in place. There are still opportunities out there for buyers willing to think differently about how they approach the process.
