A mysterious figure in the upstairs window? Well, the house DOES have beautiful natural light.

206 years of history. Imagine what those walls have seen. 👻

I recently got a home built in 1820 under contract, and it got me thinking about all the stories hiding inside some of Michigan's oldest houses.

Think about it. This home was standing 17 years before Michigan even became a state!

Generations of families. Holidays. Celebrations. Heartbreak. Traditions that have come and gone.

And here's a little spooky history for you. Back in the 1800s, many homes had parlors where families entertained guests, celebrated special occasions, and sometimes even held funeral visitations for loved ones.

Does that mean this house is haunted? Probably not. But I wouldn't mind hearing a few of its stories. 😂

That's one of the things I love about real estate. Every home has a history, and every new owner gets to become part of it.

I'm a Realtor, not an influencer. And there's a difference.

Yes, I show up on social media. I share homes, create videos, and put time into making content that people actually want to see.

But I'm not doing it to become internet famous.

I'm doing it because the way we market homes has changed, and my clients deserve someone who's willing to keep up.

Every photo, video, and post has a purpose. It's about creating visibility, reaching potential buyers, and giving every home I represent the attention it deserves.

And at the end of the day? I'd much rather have one serious buyer than a million views that lead nowhere.

Because my success isn't measured in likes or followers. It's measured in the relationships I build, the trust I earn, and the results I deliver. ✨

There's a lot that goes into being a Realtor that never makes it to social media.

Behind every closing is a story. Sometimes it's exciting, sometimes it's emotional, and sometimes it's a whole lot of problem-solving that nobody ever knows happened.

And through all of it, we're expected to stay calm, find solutions, and keep showing up for the people who trust us with some of the biggest decisions of their lives.

It's not always easy. Not every deal works out. Not every effort gets recognized. But the work still matters.

To every Realtor who has answered one more call after a long day, fought for their clients behind the scenes, or started over after a deal fell apart, I hope you know how much that dedication means.

Because being a great Realtor isn't just about the homes you sell. It's about the people you take care of along the way. ❤️

Here's something I wish more buyers understood.

You don't have to love the interest rate to make a smart real estate decision.

You do, however, have to love the numbers enough to live with them.

There's a difference.

Now, I'm not suggesting anyone try to recreate the late '90s or stretch themselves financially to become a homeowner.

I'm saying that waiting for everything to be perfect can turn into years of doing absolutely nothing.

And here's the part I really want you to hear:

You can be financially responsible AND explore buying a home. Those two things are not mutually exclusive.

Talk to a lender. Find out what you qualify for. Figure out what payment you're actually comfortable with. Look at what's available in your price range.

Maybe you're ready.

Maybe you're six months away.

Maybe you need another year.

That's fine! At least you'll KNOW instead of spending another year guessing.

Your first home doesn't have to be your forever home. Mine certainly wasn't.

But it was a start. And I'm pretty proud of that start.

90 days of patience, follow-ups, showings, and waiting for the right buyer.

The SECOND I make plans to leave town, everybody suddenly wants the house.

At this point, I'm considering booking a vacation every time I list a property. 😂

Detroit on game day just hits different.

The city’s loud, everyone’s in Honolulu Blue, and even if you don’t know every play, you can feel the momentum.

Real estate has its own version of that.

You don’t need to know every stat, trend, inventory shift, pricing adjustment, or buyer behavior pattern.

That’s my job.

But you do need someone who knows when to move, when to wait, when to push, and when the opportunity is actually there.

Because sitting on the sidelines waiting for the “perfect” market sounds safe…

until someone else gets the house, the deal, or the move you kept talking yourself out of.
