Closing day is always a mix of emotions, but this Brookfield ranch holds a very special place in my heart. It has officially closed with a career record for me, sitting at $95,000 over asking price.

While the numbers are humbling and incredible, that is not the true highlight of this journey. We experienced an overwhelming amount of interest, culminating in ten exceptionally strong offers from Buyers eager to make this address their own. As things sometimes go though, one unique offer materialized and soared to the top. Even with minimal contingencies, a transaction can take unexpected turns, but this process was remarkably seamless thanks to everyone working together in absolute harmony.

Ultimately, this success happened because of the meticulous care my Sellers invested in their home over the years. Every corner showcased thoughtful, outstanding upgrades that spoke volumes to every buyer who walked through the door. This home felt anchored to its foundation through all of the love and care methodically shown to it. I am beyond honored to have been able to represent this home for my Sellers. Talk about a proud listing.

It is always bittersweet to watch clients close a chapter and move on to make new memories elsewhere. Especially when they quickly shift from clients to friends. I always get attached to the constant communication that occurs during the transaction. Questions needing answers here and there as little jokes are sometimes sprinkled throughout. Yet we need to keep in sight that it is also just the beginning for the new owner, who now gets to step in and carry the torch. It’s nice to think about all the new memories those walls will get to experience now.

We are thrilled to share that this beautiful Brookfield ranch is officially UNDER CONTRACT! We were overwhelmed by the incredible response with over 20 showing requests, a busy Open House and the 10 competitive offers we received. It was a joy that so many prospective Buyers were able to witness the thoughtful updates and the genuine care that my Sellers poured into this home. Thank you to everyone who showed so much interest and spent their weekend appreciating this lovely home.

It’s never easy making the calls to notify the folks whose offer was not Accepted. And I wish them all the best as they continue their search for their perfect "Home Sweet Home." But now it’s time for the next owner to come on in and make this house their home.

To me, it feels like you are sitting in the forest with an umbrella of color surrounding you. The focus now is on warm, earthy, and moody shades. Look for deep forest greens, rich navy, chocolate brown, warm charcoal, and eggplant. What do you think about this trend? I think I like it, but it would have to be in the right room. The final walk-through of the Spice Creek condo in Pewaukee was heavy with quiet reflection. As I retrieved the lockbox and scanned the empty space, the reality of the situation finally settled in.

In real estate, we are trained to remain organized, analytical, and objective—guiding clients through the process as if it were just another transaction. But sometimes, it’s all business until, suddenly, it isn’t. This sale wasn't defined by the $20,000 over-list price or the incredibly clean, near contingency-free offer we secured. Those are the mechanics, but they were not the heart of this story.

I helped him purchase this home in 2020, shortly after he lost his wife. Watching him begin that new chapter, surrounded by such beauty and those peaceful golf course views, was a privilege. He passed away a few months back, and I have missed him terribly. As I left the property for the last time, a cardinal swooped down and flew past my car—a moment of grace that felt exactly like a thank you from him.

Some transactions are more than just numbers; they get placed in your heart forever. May his family find peace as they settle his affairs. He will be deeply missed by so many.
