Before you hit โMessage Agentโ on Zillow, let me quickly explain what ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐บ happens behind the scenesโฆ
That one click doesnโt go to the listing agent like most people think (or even your own agent). Your info gets sent out to multiple agents at once, and suddenly your phone starts blowing up with calls and texts from people youโve never met.
And Iโve seen this happen more than onceโฆ
Iโve had buyers I was already working with accidentally click that button thinking it would notify me, when it actually connected them with a completely different agent. We caught it quickly, but it definitely caused some confusion.
And just recently on one of my listings, a showing was scheduled and then canceled. Turns out the buyers had clicked the button online and were connected with a random agent, even though they were already working with someone else.
Something else to think aboutโฆ you have no idea who youโre getting on the other end. It could be someone amazingโฆ or someone brand new, not local, or unfamiliar with the area. You just donโt know.
Wouldnโt you rather work with someone you actually choose? Someone you trust, who knows the market and will take care of you from start to finish?
