September 11, 2001. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years ago, an ordinary September morning became a day that changed America forever.
People boarded flights. Parents left for work. Firefighters, police officers, and paramedics reported for duty. Families said goodbye that morning expecting to see one another again that evening.
For thousands, that evening never came.

Today, we remember every innocent life taken on September 11, 2001. We honor the first responders and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger to help people they had never met. And we remember the families who lost mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, and friends.

We also remember what happened afterward.

Americans stood together.
Neighbors helped neighbors. Strangers helped strangers. Communities prayed, grieved, and supported one another. In one of our nation's darkest moments, we witnessed the extraordinary courage, sacrifice, compassion, and strength of the American people.

May today remind us that tomorrow is never promised. Hug your family a little tighter. Tell the people you love what they mean to you. Be kind to your neighbor. Appreciate the freedom we share, and never take an ordinary day for granted.

From all of us at CGF Construction Group Inc., we remember those we lost, honor those who answered the call, and stand with the families who still carry that loss today.

CGF is proud to support the Union SC U18/19 Girls Team & Club Fundraiser! ⚽️

This one is especially meaningful to us because our Social Media & Community Engagement Coordinator is also a member of the Union SC U18/19 Girls team and has experienced firsthand the dedication, training, travel, and commitment it takes to compete at this level.

For those who may not be familiar with Union SC, the program was created through a collaboration between North Port Youth Soccer and Charlotte County Soccer Federation to provide an elite pathway for highly skilled and dedicated players in our area. Players earn their roster spots through competitive tryouts and come together to compete in high-level league play, tournaments, and State Cup competition.

This fundraiser helps cover the team’s State Tournament expenses, and anything raised above the required amount goes 100% back to the team.

At CGF, we believe in supporting the people behind our company and the communities we’re a part of. We’re proud to support these young athletes as they work hard, compete at a high level, and represent our local community.

When we first arrived at this project, we quickly realized this family had been put in a very difficult situation. After hiring a previous unlicensed contractor, they were left with an unfinished remodel, depleted funds, and a home that was far from livable. To make matters worse, the household includes elderly family members with medical conditions who were forced to live through the disruption and uncertainty. As we began evaluating the project, we discovered several serious issues. The bathrooms had not been properly waterproofed and will need to be redone to prevent future damage. The kitchen materials had been purchased but were never installed, leaving the family with an unusable space and no clear path forward. Instead of turning the project away, we worked with the homeowners to develop a practical and affordable solution. We redesigned the kitchen to fit their budget, completed the installation, and established a payment plan to help them move forward without creating additional financial hardship. At CGF Construction Group, we believe construction is about more than materials and labor. It's about helping people create a safe, functional, and comfortable place to call home. We're proud to have played a part in getting this family back on track, and we look forward to continuing the work needed to restore their home.
