ASK DORIG A QUESTION
Question: What does CDOM stand for and what does it refer to in Real Estate ?
Answer: CDOM most commonly stands for Cumulative Days on Market in real estate. How it works: Unlike standard Days on Market (DOM)—which resets every time a new listing agreement is signed—CDOM adds up the time from multiple consecutive listings of the same property. Reset rule: CDOM typically only resets to zero if the property is taken off the market for a specific required break period (often between 30 to 90 days, depending on your local real estate board rules. Recently on 9-8-26 the rule changed from 90 to 30 days in Texas. I will talk more about this change next week.To set an appointment with DORIG, go to DoriGarner.com or DM.
