Five years in real estate have flown by… so let’s recap. 🏡✨
I’ve learned a lot about what real estate is — and even more about what it isn’t.
From the outside, it can look like beautiful homes, million-dollar sales, and all the glitz & glam. But what you don’t see are the late-night calls, endless showings, (one that may end with getting bogged down in the middle of nowhere) negotiations, emotional conversations, working on vacations, missed holidays, and the countless hours spent behind the scenes.
And here’s the part people don’t always realize:
We don’t get paid until we close.
You can give 150% and still have the deal fall apart. A client’s plans can change. A home may never be purchased. And sometimes, after weeks or months of work, you walk away with nothing but a lesson.
That’s the risk.
But the reward? The people. The relationships. The trust. The wins.
I’m still working with clients I met during my very first year in real estate — and that means more to me than any transaction ever could.
So thankful to have the best support system to do what I do. My hubs and I have bought two homes, been landlords and I’ve become a mother while starting this career. The first three years looked a lot different than these last two but I’m so glad I’m still here. Still learning. Still working and all while navigating motherhood. NOT without the amazing help of my husband and our families. 🤍
Five years in, I’m incredibly grateful for every client, every referral, every lesson, every closed door, and every closing.
Five years down. So much more to come. 🥂🏡
