Confession… I HATE strength training! Sign me up for cardio all day long…but I do not love weights/strength training.😬 Not sure if I’m scarred from all my younger years and doing just so much of that, but honestly, just don’t love it. I keep waiting for the day that I enjoy it. Still waiting…😂

BUT…I know how important it is and how much I need it. Especially as I get older, have to work extra hard… if you know, you know!🙃

And let me tell you something…there are no shortcuts. No sustaining ones, anyway. No pills, shots, drinks, etc… just getting up and getting out and putting in the work. It doesn’t happen overnight, takes time and consistency. Showing up for yourself day in and day out. Eventually, it becomes a habit, and in time the results come.

I was not feeling it this morning. To be honest many mornings I’m not feeling it. Anyone else feel that way?🙋‍♀️

Anyway, I just want to encourage you if you’re ever feeling down or discouraged to just remember that these things take TIME. Keep showing up and putting 1 foot in front of the other, the results will come. It doesn’t have to be pretty, it doesn’t even have to be much…just START!

OK I’m off my soapbox…and I still hate strength training, but maybe tomorrow is the day that I love it!💪💗
