Buying a home comes with a lot of moving pieces, and sometimes things come up along the way.

If you KNOW you may have a dilemma, talk to your lender and your Realtor early. Don’t wait until the last minute. There may be options available that you didn’t even know about.

And remember some savings is always better than NO savings.

Your student loan balance is only one piece of the picture. How your debt is calculated, your income, credit, monthly obligations, loan program, and other factors all play a role.

I’ve never been one to brag on myself, but babyyyy after this closing I have to say it… I’m really “that girl.” 😂

I always say I never get the easy ones, and THIS one was hurdle after hurdle all the way up until closing day. There were tears shed by my client and definitely some tears shed by me too. It was HARD, but every single time we conquered the beast.

I can only describe this one as being led by God. I prayed for alignment, and He sent it every step of the way. I knew there were times my client didn’t think it was going to happen as we maneuvered through the process, but God saw them all the way through. 🙌🏽

What makes this one even more special is this was my second time going through the process with these clients. They purchased their starter home with me in 2021, and here we are in 2026 selling that home AND closing on their new one.

They worked HARD to get to this finish line, so of course I had to come celebrate them publicly! Thank y’all for trusting me to guide you through this process again. I don’t take that lightly at all. ❤️❤️
