About time. This has been a pet peeve for years...new phone - a new charger, new laptop - a new charger, iPad.....etc. Let's hope the new ones are more robust and don't need to be replaced every 15 months or so!!

A European Union mandate set to begin in 2026 will require all new smartphones, tablets and laptops to use a common charger.
