Charlotte continues to show why it remains one of the country’s most closely watched growth markets. While the broader economy is dealing with persistent inflation, higher energy costs, and ongoing uncertainty around interest rates, commercial real estate is beginning to move from correction toward a more measured recovery.
The latest market data points to a trend we are seeing on the ground as well. Investors and occupiers are still active, but more selective. Industrial demand remains steady despite elevated vacancy from recent supply deliveries, office leasing activity continues to improve for well located, high quality assets, and Charlotte retail fundamentals remain among the strongest in the country.
