An Albemarle County native with over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, Anita is highly respected by her peers for her professionalism. A large majority of her business comes from return customers and referrals from previous clients who appreciate her negotiating skills and positive attitude. She has been selected as one of the most referred agents in the Charlottesville area year
after year. She loves helping people with their real estate needs and assists families with their home buying or selling (relocate to a new home in the area or across the country) in residential, estate and new homes. As a Charlottesville local, her extensive knowledge of schools, neighborhoods, shopping areas, arts, and UVA is reassuring to incoming families. As an Associate Broker, Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), and Relocation Specialist, Anita continues to grow professionally in order to stay on top of the changing market conditions. She served as the 2010 Virginia CRS chapter president and was awarded the VA CRS of the year award. This organization is a network of the top 4% of Realtors in the country in education and production and serves as a great networking source to assist clients by connecting with the top Realtors as they move from place to place. She currently serves on the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors (CAAR) Board of Directors as the 2015 President. In addition, she serves on the Leadership Academy with Montague, Miller & Company. In addition to Anita’s Real Estate accomplishments, she has previously served on the board of the Literacy Volunteers of Charlottesville-Albemarle and the Board of Shelter for Help and Emergency. She is a member of Leadership Charlottesville and the Charlottesville Chamber of Commerce. Married for 30 years to Jim, a retired educator, Anita has five grown children and five grandchildren. She is an avid UVA sports enthusiast and loves to read and travel.
