IT. For nearly two decades, she worked
at a high level in global environments,
managing teams across time zones
and navigating the demands of an
always-on industry. While the work was
rewarding, it came at a cost.

As her children approached high school,
Kathleen made a decision. She wanted
to be more present, more connected to
her community, and more grounded in
something local. Real estate offered that
opportunity.

What she found was not the part-time,
flexible career many imagine, but
something far more demanding and far more meaningful.

'It gave me the opportunity to have an
impact locally,' she explains.
She built her early business through
the relationships she already had,

soccer communities where her children

Some homes just click.

This Cheshire property hit every note my clients were looking for — tucked into a neighborhood, close to everything, and in beautiful shape. But honestly, what made this one work so well was the clients themselves. They walked in clear on what they wanted and what they could live without. When a house lines up that cleanly, you know. We moved fast and it paid off.

Bristol. This closing mattered more than most.

This family has been through years of challenges. The kind that make a lot of people give up on homeownership altogether. They didn't. They kept going, kept saving, kept believing this day would come. And this week, it finally did.

The house itself is lovely. But the house isn't the story. The story is the perseverance it took to get there. The listing photos won't show you the years of work that led to that front-door photo. Just closed this one in Old Lyme — and it's the kind of sale I love because it was smart on every level.

The buyers are repeat clients. Two teachers. We first got to know each other years ago as swim moms — and when they were ready to make a move on the shoreline, they called me. That kind of trust, built over years on the pool deck, means everything to me. (They used my Homes for Heroes program on this one, too — teachers deserve every break they can get.)

They bought this beach house with a dual-purpose strategy: summer rental income during peak season, personal use the rest of the year.
