Have you ever over committed and wonder how it was going to work out?

Thank goodness that the Lord has mercy on foolish people, referring to myself.

This is 3 months post having my baby and I had clients that needed to haul to a parade. My husband, who normally is my hero/driver/ baby watcher, was unable to make it. I called in the heavy hitters. My mom and grandma.

Mission: haul 4 horses to Fort Worth parade, keep baby from melting down and make it back home!

We were successful and only had one melt down. But had I not said yes to the parade, which was a good experience, I would not have figured out a way to get it done. I hope you say yes to something that your not 100% you can do, but give it a try to make it happen.

4 generations in one photo.

The love we have for horses is contagious in our family. If it wasn’t for my mom who showed me how to ride and love horses and do life I might have given up too. So many women put their love for horses on hold while taking care of the family. And that is a noble sacrifice. We choose the more complicated route and try to have our cake and eat it too. It comes with struggles, but we find it worth it at the end of the day. What generation of horse lover are you?

Please tell me I’m not the only one. By the last time they call my name I normally give up. It takes a lot of will power and patience to get to my happy place sometimes.

Baby Reiney is a magnet. I’m sitting on my gelding working on his roping and look over to see this. It made me smile and took some of the mom guilt away.
