Moms Ride Too

Moms Ride Too Horses were my first love, then came the cowboy, and now the babies. Even with the title mom, I still love my horses.

Sharing my journey to inspire and support others in theirs!

4 generations in one photo.

The love we have for horses is contagious in our family. If it wasn’t for my mom who showed me how to ride and love horses and do life I might have given up too. So many women put their love for horses on hold while taking care of the family. And that is a noble sacrifice. We choose the more complicated route and try to have our cake and eat it too. It comes with struggles, but we find it worth it at the end of the day. What generation of horse lover are you?

We were honored to be asked to come speak with some 4-h and present on horse careers. Having the baby sure help keep their attention.

Here’s how we ride with kids… we take turns. And sharing is caring. Looks like it works for kids and parents. Grateful for a good night and good horses.

Please tell me I’m not the only one. By the last time they call my name I normally give up. It takes a lot of will power and patience to get to my happy place sometimes.

Baby Reiney is a magnet. I’m sitting on my gelding working on his roping and look over to see this. It made me smile and took some of the mom guilt away.

My whole heart in one picture. Getting to spend family time in the arena is the best! I’m hoping we can build little Reiney into a strong cowgirl who can take on the world.
