I've been calling Colorado Springs home for about 30 years now and I got into real estate because I genuinely love the people here and love helping them find a place that just feels right. Okay so I used to know exactly how many plants I owned. That era is over. 🌿 We are well past 100 and I have officially lost count, which honestly feels like a personality trait at this point.

Okay I have to talk about this because it's genuinely one of my favorite things about living here.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo turns 100 this year. A HUNDRED. And it's still sitting up there at 6,714 feet as the highest elevation zoo in the whole country, which honestly feels very on-brand for Colorado Springs.

I recommend this zoo to my clients more than you'd think, especially the ones relocating with kids who want to know "okay but what is there actually to DO here." This is always my answer. Hand-feeding giraffes, watching otters swim, that historic carousel that's been running since 1925... it's the kind of thing that makes a new city start to feel like home.

If you're new here or thinking about making the move, put this on your list. And if you're a local, when's the last time you actually went? Tag your zoo day person 🦒

That Real Talk before showings isn't a gimmick, it's 30-40 minutes of actual conversation wherever you're comfortable (coffee shop, FaceTime, my office, you name it) so you walk into showings with a roadmap instead of a guessing game. Questions get asked, answers get given, confusion gets cleared up before it becomes a problem.

The rest? Non-negotiable vibes only. 😂
