One of the things that makes this job feel so much bigger than real estate is knowing I get to be a small part of someone’s story. A minor character in a very big chapter.

I get to help a family find the home where they’ll raise their babies, blow out birthday candles, make dinner together, host holidays, and create the everyday memories that become the stories they tell for years to come.

I may only be actively there for a chapter, but they’re choosing the place where so many of their biggest chapters will happen.

What does a good real estate agent actually do for you in Colorado Springs?

A lot of the value is invisible.

It’s knowing when a small issue could turn into an expensive one, when a conversation needs to happen now instead of tomorrow, and when protecting your client matters more than keeping a deal moving.

The smoothest transactions usually aren’t smooth because nothing went wrong.

They feel smooth because someone was paying attention early, asking the right questions, and handling problems before they became your problems.

That’s the part of representation I wish more buyers and sellers knew to look for.

🎈 One of my favorite Colorado Springs traditions is almost here!

I’ve been going to the Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off since I was a kid, and now I get to watch my own kids experience the magic of it. What a special Colorado Springs tradition!

If you’ve never been, trust me when I say this is SO much more than just watching hot air balloons from a distance. You can actually get ON THE FIELD and experience the balloons up close!

It’s not just someone who knows the market or has hundreds of closings under their belt.

It’s the agent who knows how to protect the people you send their way.

The agent worth referring is the one who can tell when a repair is worth pushing for, when an offer needs a closer look, when the house has red flags your friend might miss, or when the best advice is, “I know you love it, but I do not think this is the one.”

You are trusting someone with your friend, your coworker, your neighbor, or your family member, and I never forget that there is a real relationship behind every name sent my way.

Buying a home in Colorado Springs is one of the biggest financial decisions in a person’s life.

And the behind the scenes work is where deals are made or lost.

That’s where I spend most of my time.

Calling listing agents, reaching out to my network, and finding homes before they hit the MLS.

Doing diligence on properties before you waste your time touring one with major red flags.

And when it’s time to write an offer, I already know what the seller cares about, so we can come in strong without overpaying.
