We’re incredibly honored that our new headquarters at 2200 Sumter Street has received a Historic Preservation Award from Historic Columbia. 🤍
Cottontown, officially designated as the Bellevue Historic District, has become one of Columbia’s most unique examples of adaptive reuse and thoughtful reinvestment. Former warehouses, garages, and storefronts throughout the neighborhood have been transformed into restaurants, coffee shops, offices, and gathering spaces that help preserve the character of the area while creating something new.
We’re proud for this building to now be part of that story alongside neighbors like Indah Coffee and War Mouth who also reimagined old buildings with character into a lively community assets.
Originally built in 1964, our new headquarters was thoughtfully renovated to preserve many of its defining features, such as the restored steel windows and distinctive bowstring trusses, demonstrating how maintaining character-defining elements can turn a formerly utilitarian building into something remarkable.
Thank you to Historic Columbia, , Architrave and everyone who helped bring this vision to life.
