Before there was Olentangy Village… there was Olentangy Park. 🎡🌳

ABC 6 News recently took a look back at the history of the old Olentangy Park — and we spotted a very familiar place in the story. 👀

The park was demolished in 1938, and just one year later, in 1939, Olentangy Village began its own chapter on the property.

From amusement park memories to more than 85 years of apartment living, this little corner of Columbus has seen a lot of history. 💙

It is hard to imagine now, but before retail shops and apartment buildings filled the area, Olentangy Park stood along the river and drew thousands of visitors.
