Excited for what’s ahead. 🤍
With this merger, I’m incredibly grateful to be transitioning from serving as YPN Chair into the Board of Governors and stepping into the role of 2027 President-Elect.
When I look back at where I started and the growth I’ve seen and felt within myself along the way, it means more than I can put into words. I’m so thankful for the leaders who saw something in me, believed in me, challenged me and continued to push me further than I may have pushed myself.
Because at the end of the day, it’s never really about the title. It’s about how we lead, how we serve and how we help the people around us recognize what they’re capable of, too.
Getting to meet some of the Governors yesterday at our pre-planning meeting I’ll be working alongside this upcoming year made me even more excited for what’s to come! This merger has already opened the door for greater collaboration, new relationships and an even bigger opportunity to grow together within our industry.
I’m especially excited to see how Rolando Andres Ramirez leads as 2027 President and to work alongside him to help accomplish his vision and goals for this group.
Serving through YPN has been such an important part of my journey and continuing to serve, lead, collaborate and help move this profession forward is something I’m incredibly excited about.
And if you’ve ever thought about getting more involved with the Association, do it. Attend an event, find an opportunity to serve, raise your hand and put yourself in the room. You never know where one “yes” might lead or how much you’ll grow along the way. And if you don’t know where to start, reach out — I’d be happy to help you find your place.
