INDIANA HOME BUYERS:

Indiana’s requirement for written Buyer’s Agency Agreement takes effect July 1st.
Indiana Realtors >CAN NOT< show a Buyer a home unless they have signed a “Buyer’s Agency Agreement” with THAT AGENT. This goes in effect nationwide on August 17th (as of right now).

Realtors will not be able to show a home to a buyer without Buyer first signing this agreement. Signing this agreement before viewing a home will be the ‘LAW’ for all real estate agents. This agreement is basically your contract between the Buyer and that REALTOR saying you will be hiring them to purchase a home. Also agrees to their responsibilities owed to Buyer and Buyers duties to the Agent.

Remember, interview your REALTOR, get referrals from your friends, & make your decision. Purchasing a home is a HUGE step!
