José, Elevation’s slopeside restaurant and bar featuring the base area’s best patio seating, will become Telly’s bistro + ski beach as part of the transition from Elevation to The Beckwith. A nod to the patron saint of Crested Butte’s North Face Lift, actor Telly Savalas, Telly’s will feature an entirely new menu and decor while remaining a hub for guests and locals to gather for après, meals, activations, and more. Telly’s patio will include a permanent covered stage to further our music programming and host live events all year long.

Crested Butte is one of the most beautiful places in Colorado no matter the season. But there’s nothing like seeing (and skiing) your favorite mountain wrapped in a blanket of fresh snow. Opening Day at Crested Butte Mountain Resort is November 25, so get those skis and boards waxed up and let’s have some fun this winter!

It was a September to remember in Crested Butte. One of our favorite annual events - the Crested Butte Film Festival - was once again a source of inspiration for all who attended. We were particularly excited to see “Dream Boats” on the big screen. The film, which chronicles an unlikely row across the Atlantic, was produced by friends of ours and took home Audience Choice Awards for Best Overall Film and Best Overall Feature! We can’t wait to see what they come up with next.

With a rustic-yet-sophisticated aesthetic, the redesigned billy barr will be a warm and welcoming place where hotel guests, homeowners, members, and locals can enjoy morning coffee and grab-and-go breakfast, or craft cocktails and elevated après bites after a day exploring Crested Butte. Meet up with friends or find a cozy corner to simply unwind, surrounded by place-based details inspired by billy’s cabin home at the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory in Gothic, Colorado. Blue hues found throughout the space reflect the color of the trim on his cabin; animal tracks and weather logs documented by billy are subtly incorporated into the design of the fireplace and other elements.
