🌟 Unfortunately, Beaux has been let down by humans multiple times. He was most recently abandoned, is super skinny, and has multiple scabs and scratches, but this boy still has so much joy and love in him. 💕

🌟 Walks well on a leash, likes to sniff, follows directions, does check-ins.

We took sweet Bella on a doggie daycation on December 21st, and she has been in a foster home since Christmas Eve!

🌟 Intake date 5/7, owner surrender with two other dogs, unable to afford basic care
🌟 Big Pun is very shy, and it took some time to get him out of his kennel and through the shelter to get outside, but he did it!
🌟 His owner described him as playful with other dogs, independent, and good with strangers. No known interactions with cats.
🌟 Greeted us with a waggy tail at his kennel and was calm when I went inside. He was happy to take treats and even eat them gently from my hand.
🌟 We had to pick him up to put him in the car, but he was totally fine with that. Great car rider, just laid in the backseat.
🌟 He is a beautiful boy with a brindle coat and golden eyes. ✨
🌟 He is the ultimate lovebug, leans into you, puts his head in your lap, once he gets comfortable.
🌟 Even though he is shy, he calmly received pets from everyone who stopped by to meet him, including little kids.
🌟 Happily laid his head on the laps of people sitting near us multiple times.
🌟 We had many dogs around us at the brewery, and he was interested, just looking at them, no other reaction, even to dogs barking at him.
🌟 He is not used to the leash, but he does walk on it. He will stop and just stand for a while, so we had to carry him a few times, which he calmly allowed.
🌟 At the end of the day, after he had time to get comfortable and warm up, he fell asleep in my lap at a loud, busy, brewery during a thunderstorm.
🌟 Playgroup notes with other dogs at the shelter: 5/10 (3 days after arriving at the shelter) This dog had to be bucketed to yard, not seeking interactions with others, and will correct dogs that approach.

🌟 Gina seems to have had a tough life as a stray, but you would never know it when you meet her. She is loving, affectionate, calm, and gentle. She stole our hearts, so we had to do an extra daycation with her this weekend.
🌟 Friendly girl, greets you at her kennel with a wagging tail
🌟 Gives sweet kisses, leans into you for love, enjoys getting pets.
🌟 She has been at the shelter for only 7 days, and she arrived covered in mud, so we gave her a really good bath. She was so calm and patient as we scrubbed the mud off, even giving us kisses, and her glow up made all the difference.
🌟 Gina is so observant, just loves watching everything happening around her
🌟 When walking past kennels with barking dogs, Gina had no reaction.
🌟 Calmly hung out at a busy, loud kids’ soccer game
🌟 Friendly to every person who stopped to meet her, including kids
🌟 She got so much attention and a lot of compliments, even was a staff favorite at the brewery we visited

5/12 UPDATE: AMBER has been ADOPTED! 🎉 Hoping this is her forever home!

Meet Amber #59223274!

She is one of our doggie daycation alum from May 2025. Amber has been adopted twice in the last year, and she has found herself back at the SPCA. We took her on another doggie daycation to Community Beer Company. We are not giving up on this girl. We know her perfect home is out there. They just haven’t seen her yet!

Please share, as Amber needs out of the kennel/shelter environment. She is VERY smart, so kennel life is not good for her mentally. Even being in a foster home would be so much better!

🌟 Crate trained! Even did well in a small, gated area for short periods while the previous owner would leave the house for an hour or so.
🌟 Amber loves walks and taking in the world around her. She pulls on the leash and weaves while walking, because she wants to see and sniff everything!

🌟 Rough and rowdy play style with other dogs, and she can be selective with certain pups, so it might be best for her to be in a single dog family. She has had situations of resources guarding with other dogs, food, treats, or toys are what seem to be the issue.

🌟 Intake date 2/19, his owner passed away. Our last daycation pup, Chunk, is his sister.
🌟 Damon shows signs that he is stressed/scared in his kennel by barking. Once he is out of his kennel, he is much calmer, just shy.
🌟 We really feel like Damon will gain so much confidence and flourish once he is in a home where he feels safe and loved.
🌟 This precious boy stole a lot of hearts today. ❤️
🌟 Damon was such a good boy, even in a busy brewery with lots of noise and people.
🌟 Even though he is super shy, he allowed people to pet him all day. So proud of him.
🌟 A dog was sitting near us barking, and Damon had absolutely no reaction. Many dogs of all sizes passed us, and Damon stayed calm.
