Weird rules I have as a DFW real estate agent

Every agent picks up their own little quirks over time, here are a few of mine:

I always bring snacks to showings (hangry house hunting is real). I judge closets a little too honestly, sorry not sorry. And client texts get answered before my own family's, which my husband has definitely noticed.

A few things I'm unlearning as a Gen Z realtor in Denton County:

It's not always about what makes sense on paper. People move for a hundred reasons that have nothing to do with affordability or interest rates, and none of them need to be justified to anyone.

Building wealth is about more than the math. There's rich in finances, sure, but there's also rich in relationships, in peace, in the life you actually get to live in your home.
