🚨 GLEN HOLLOW RESIDENTS: HELP US KEEP THE WATER ON! 🚨
Are you tired of having your water shut off unexpectedly?
So are we! 💧
Many emergency plumbing issues—leaks, clogs, and sewer backups—are caused by items being improperly disposed of down toilets, sinks, and garbage disposals.
🚫 PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH OR POUR:
❌ Grease or cooking oils
❌ “Flushable” wipes
❌ Feminine hygiene products
❌ Paper towels or cloth
❌ Condoms
❌ Plastic, metal, or glass
❌ Bones or stringy vegetables
❌ Any other prohibited materials
Remember: If you can't eat it, your garbage disposal can't eat it!
You may have noticed marker flags around Building 3. Similar sewer improvement work has recently been completed or conducted near Buildings 2, 11, and 12. These ongoing improvements are designed to strengthen our sewer infrastructure and reduce plumbing emergencies—but we still need everyone's help.
⚠️ Why does this matter?
Our plumbing system is communal. Improper disposal can cause backups and damage throughout the building, particularly affecting ground-floor residents.
As stated in your lease, residents may be responsible for damages caused by misuse of plumbing equipment. Plumbing repair costs may also be shared among residents when the system is affected. If an individual is found responsible, additional lease consequences and repair costs may apply in accordance with the lease and applicable law.
