In his trademark no-holds-barred style, United CEO Dan Duffy kicked off RisMedia’s 2026 CEO & Leadership Exchange in Washington, D.C., with a keynote that left a lasting impression. From his candid assessment of NAR to his optimistic outlook on the consolidation and disruption reshaping the industry, Dan challenged attendees to view change as opportunity. "Our industry is in a state of entropy - an immutable natural process where organized things want to become disorganized. It's the most beautiful time to be in business. It causes pain that causes change."

He left the audience with a challenge to answer two fundamental questions with absolute clarity: What products and services do you offer, and to which markets? The answers, he said, are the foundation of any successful strategy.
